We have received an e-mail from Gareth, Blaenau Ffestiniog (North Wales), which informs us of a similar setup in his home town. Customer receive up to 14 channels over coax cable, and also use the MAINS, VHF IN, UHF OUT type of box. It does appear that you can just add your own coax to the box on the house, connect it to a VHF-UHF box and you're away. The picture quality isn't brilliant but it's good. Sky Sports seems to have undergone some form of scrambling, with some form of line-filter necessary to view it. Another thing mentioned was that locally it is not called Rediffusion.
